SPFBlogShirtsIf you’re new to Sgt. Pepper’s Friends, we have many rescues looking for forever loving homes. Most of our dogs and cats come from unknown backgrounds and many of them have suffered from neglect, abuse, and abandonment.

Our goal is to find them a family where they will get the love and care they deserve so they can live a happy healthy life!

A note from Hannah, a recent adopter who provided a loving home to one of our rescues: "I wanted to give you an update on Ulani. It's been almost three weeks since I picked her up. I call her Maisie now. It means "pearl" or "child of light", and to me, that's exactly what this little white pup from the island is. (Although everyone else likes to call her Dobby.) She's amazing; such a fast learner, wholeheartedly friendly, and she has no fear. There are no small dogs in my life, only over-the-top large and she's already best friends with all of them. She's eager to explore the woods, is fascinated and confused with pine cones, somersaults onto dog beds, and her favorite food is chicken poop. And she's a flirt, she loves men (the human kind, she could care less if a dog is a boy or not). She experienced her first snow the other day, she LOVED it. Everyone who meets her falls in love with her instantly, she's too sweet for words. Maisie's my first dog that I've been able to call solely my own, and I absolutely could not have been paired with a better best friend for life. Thank you so much Sgt Peppers friends for putting her in my life and thank you to her foster mom for showing her love. I hope to take her back to Aruba one day to visit. I am forever grateful."
