I hope June has been beautiful for you so far!
Dennis, Luna and I are settling into our fourth week here in Stockholm. It’s felt great to set some roots in Sweden after visiting so many beautiful places in Europe. This trip has gone by incredibly quick and unbearably slow all at the exact same time. I am so looking forward to getting back to Aruba in a few days, but I can’t say the same for my husband. He has been loving this trip and doesn’t want it to end.
However, even my husband can admit that this trip has seen its fair share of chaos! Flying with the baby is always a challenge, Ringo went missing for a day, I jumped on a plane to LA for a weekend, and I went hungry for two weeks in the South of France when vegan food was hardly an option. We all know life happens. Especially when travelling, we can’t control everything going on around us.
There are some things, though, that we always need to count on for peace of mind – and contraception is one of them. Through this entire trip I could count on Natural Cycles, thanks to the awesome new Natural Cycles app version 3.0 just released. I wanted to make sure everyone was aware of some exciting new features – like the new Offline Mode. This mode was a lifesaver when I stayed in the tiny village in the south of France and could not get a reliable Internet signal. You can now add data offline and the app stores it for you until the next time you are connected. The app will then sync the new data with the algorithm and return your updated fertility status. Don’t forget to always use protection on orange days (and offline-days)!
The new update also allows you to choose what time you’d like to receive reminders to measure. Maybe you prefer it later in the evening or very early in the morning like me – always before Luna wakes up!
If you haven’t decided if you want to switch to Natural Cycles and want to choose when to start your free trial, try their new Demo Mode! In this mode, you are able to tour the app with simulated data until you’re ready to start your personal experience.
Natural Cycles also offers the option to follow your pregnancy, instead of using the app as a form of contraception – something I would love to do if Dennis and I decide to have baby number 2. If you are planning a pregnancy or would like to sign up with Natural Cycles to follow your pregnancy, they’ve added a separate setting to make it easier for you to switch manually to the Pregnancy Mode or sign up as already pregnant within the app.
Whether you’re at home or on the road, Natural Cycles has got you covered. Click here to read more about Natural Cycles app version 3.0 and get started today. Wherever you are, I am wishing you less chaos, more peace, and a beautiful summer. (NC is 93% effective, for women above 18, doesn’t protect against STI’s)
