Week 11: Floating on Cloud Nine in Pregnancy

So turns out this week is the same as Week 10 that I wrote about already…as our due date got moved up a whole week we “gained” a week!

It’s been three days since the sonogram and I’m still floating on cloud nine. I feel a new sense of peace, of calm…

My sinuses have eased up and I feel way more energetic in the mornings. Today I actually woke up at 6 am and rolled my mat out outside. Practicing as the sun rose… that was a long time ago! I’ve been sleeping so much these weeks, waking up at 8 or 9 or even later some days. I feel like since the sonogram, we’ve entered a new phase!

I still get weird almost narcoleptic sleep attacks where I sit down somewhere and just fall asleep in a second. It’s odd, but I think napping helps to keep my energy up. And my nausea is better, too!

Next week we start traveling and have a whole month of crazy travels ahead. I’ve been nervous because there would be nothing worse than flying back and forth across the Atlantic while nauseous and with an explosive headache. I’m really hoping this newfound ease will stay! Today we have our first appointment with who I hope will be our new midwife… The midwife-man! I’ll keep you posted on how it goes.
